Disconnecting and Connecting Appliances

Before Moving Day

Create an Inventory: Make a list of all appliances you’ll be moving, noting their dimensions and any special requirements.

On Moving Day

Load Appliances Safely: When loading appliances onto the moving truck, secure them to prevent shifting during transit.

After Arrival

Inspect Appliances: Inspect appliances for any damage during the move.

Connecting Appliances

Placement: Position appliances in their designated spots in your new home.

Connect Water Supply: Reconnect water hoses for appliances with water connections.

Plug In: Plug in and turn on each appliance, ensuring they are functioning properly.

Gas Appliances: For gas appliances, consult a professional to reconnect the gas supply safely.
